The latest, Von Maur: How an American Department Store Dared to Do Things Differently, was released in stores and online in 2017. The book reveals insights into one family’s entrepreneurial journey, encompassing everything from core business decisions to marketing strategy.

Working alongside the Von Maurs and having an unfettered look into a 100-plus-year-old company gave Melinda a unique perspective on not only today’s marketing efforts for the retailer but how those efforts have changed since the company’s inception.
